Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student knows the concept of the feeding behavior and is able to play their typology. The student lists the groups of the factors affecting the feeding behavior. The student is able to locate a group of psychological factors in the set of all determinants of nutrition. The student describes a group of the psychological factors affecting feeding behavior. The student knows and explains the impact of the individual psychological factors on the feeding behavior. Student explains the correlation of the individual psychological factors within the group of factors. Skills: The student is able to identify and interpret the relationship between the personality traits and the behaviors regarding food. The student is prepared to assess eating behavior on the basis of the psychological instruments. The students evaluate the difference between the individuals in the dietary behavior. The student is able to assess the behaviors regarding food on the basis of the different sex. The student interprets the risk factors for the eating disorders in the light of the characteristics of the individual units.

Competences: The student is aware of the impact of psychological factors on the feeding behavior. The student is aware of the importance of following the principles of rational nutrition by each of the groups.

Prerequisites: psychology, pedagogy

Course content: The basic concept of the psychological determinants of the basic knowledge of nutrition, the basic division of the psychological factors determining nutrition, the basic knowledge about the psychological factors that affect nutrition.
