Learning outcomes: Knowledge: At the end of the course the student knows biosynthesis process and function and application of some microbial active metabolites as: microbial enzymes and antibiotics.

Competences: Skills: Student is able to analyse of enzyme biosynthesis process with microorganisms and knows how to estimate microorganisms capable to antibiotic production. knows how to optimize these process

Prerequisites: Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology

Course content: Production, regulation of biosynthesis and application of microbial active metabolites, as enzymes (proteinases, lipases) and some antibiotics (gramicidines, penicilines tetracyclines).
