Learning outcomes: Knowledge: The student has knowledge of the problems currently discussed in the scientific literature in the field of food technology; knows the professional terminology in the field of food technology and human nutrition. Skills: Student is able to search, analyze, and creatively use information coming from different fields of science with maintaining appropriate protection rights, including copyright; has the ability to accurately communicate with various entities in the verbal and written form; individually prepares projects and scientific work in the field of food technology and human nutrition, and is able to present them; discusses on subjects related to the field of study.

Competences: Competences: Student understands the need for learning and updating of knowledge throughout life; is creative in raising awareness concerning the population feeding and the principles of proper nutrition; is aware of the dangers resulting from the use of online resources, knows the risks associated with improper storage and transfer of data.

Prerequisites: subjects of the studies programme

Course content: Performing the research and analysis in accordance with the schedule and the range established with the supervisor, according to the subject of the master thesis.

Recommended literature: Literature required for the elaboration of the master thesis is determined by the student in consultation with the supervisor of the thesis.

Assessment methods: evaluation of the thesis before the oral exam; the oral exam and defense of the master thesis.
