Learning outcomes: Student gains the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills of advanced elaborating of surveying data. Especially knowledge of non-standard methods of estimation, robust estimation of data with gross errors. Student knows how to elaborate free geodetic networks and multi group networks. Student gains the knowledge of filtering and prediction of miscellaneous geodetic data. Also knows how to use spectral analysis for draft of various kinds of data.

Competences: Graduate of the subject allow to use advanced methods of elaborating geodetic data; solve the scientific-technical issues of geodesy.

Prerequisites:

Course content: Advanced models of elaborating of surveying data, systematic errors. Theoretical background of non-standard methods of parameter estimation in geodesy – maximum-likelihood method, M-estimation. Robust adjustment. Free networks, adjustment of free networks. Recursive parameter estimation. Multi group networks. Filtering and prediction of random variables. Least squares collocation. Spectral analyse. Numerical integration.
