Learning outcomes: Knowledge: knows the methods of setting up and maintenance of garden assumptions on architectural surfaces O2-W03, W05-O2 has knowledge of the impact of assumptions on the functioning of the plant buildings and the natural environment in the cities O2-W06 has knowledge of the environmental impact on the growth and development of plants on buildings O2-W06 Skills: knows how to plan the appropriate selection of plants for green roofs and living walls O2-U07 knows how to use appropriate technologies, building materials and plant in the design and implementation of green roofs and living walls O2-U03

Competences: Is aware of the risks and social consequences of assumptions of plants on architectural surfaces, takes their impact on the environment into account its O2-K04 can work with other group members in the design process and construction O2-K05 is able to correctly identify and solve problems related to the planning and implementation of green principles on architectural surfaces O2-K06

Prerequisites: Botany, Ornamental plants (basic course)

Course content: History and overview of green roofs and vertical gardens, features green roofs and walls, lists types of green roofs, the basics of designing and installing green roofs and walls, substrate materials drainage systems of single and multi-layer structures and irrigation guidelines, selection of plant species for different types of assumptions
