Learning outcomes: Knows the basic terminology that is used in the social sciences: knows the basic concepts of sociology and psychology, knows selected contemporary sociological problems. Has a basic concept how to get other information on the topic of the course. Has a basic knowledge of social relationships and is able to indicate the relationship between the humanities and the social and agricultural sciences, forestry, veterinary and natural. Skills: Is ably looking for information, analyzes and uses the literature on the subject of the course. Uses specialized terminology in the language of the subject. Is aware of the self-development. Recognizes issues, is able to act pursuant to binding standards and ethical rules.

Competences: Is able to work in a team, with taking different roles. Understands the need for lifelong learning. Is able to think and act creatively. Correctly identifies dilemmas associated with making life and work choices, obeys ethical rules.

Prerequisites: Humanities in the high school

Course content: Sociology and psychology as a scientific discipline . Methods and techniques used in social sciences. Man as a biological, social , psychological being. Socialization. A social group and its types. Family. The concepts of personality. Attitudes and change attitudes. Motivations. The identity of the individual and collective. Culture. Revision.
