Learning outcomes: Knowledge The student has a basic knowledge of agricultural economics It has an elementary knowledge of logistics Skills The student acquires the ability to apply theoretical assumptions of logistics to business operation Acquires the ability to control inventory Acquires the ability to innovative and creative use of knowledge

Competences: It shows the need for self-improvement and training in the use of systems and logistics chains in the agricultural company It is aware of the impact of machinery on the environment Demonstrates understanding of basic principles of logistics

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of mathematics

Course content: Meaning and tasks of logistics. The system approach to logistics. Agricultural enterprise as a logistics system. The efficiency of logistics systems and their measurement. The essence of agrologistics in agribusiness. Logistics supply, production and distribution. The technical infrastructure of logistics processes in agriculture. Agriculture as a model example of the logistics chain. Logistics costs. Inventory control and determining the optimal batch purchases. Design and computer-aided logistics systems. Optimization of transport and production processes.
