Learning outcomes: Knowledge: student can identify and characterize animal tissues; student can recognize and differentiate animal tissues on histological preparations; student can choose tools needed for visualization of particular biological structures. Skills: student can use light microscope and make observations of histological preparations; student can choose and decide about the most suitable research methods needs for resolving particular research problem.

Competences: Personal and social competences (attitudes and behaviors): student plans tasks and chooses methods for animal tissue isolation; student shows ethical attitudes for experimental animals; student understands the importance of the BHP rules compliance due to contact with animal-derived material and harmful factors in laboratory, shows responsibility for entrusted preparations and microscopy.
