Learning outcomes: Skills to evaluate animal and herd health condition, evaluate animal welfare, to understand the rules of first aid render, undertaking activities in a range of veterinary prevention and diagnostic necessary to report about diseases liable on treatments, skills to evaluate environmental conditions with a particular allowance to animals management in zoo and laboratory animals, rules of turnover livestock and animals in natural environment.

Competences: Skills to evaluate health condition and first aid render, undertaking activities in a range of veterinary prevention, undertaking activities in a range of veterinary prevention, use of diagnostic knowledge necessary to report about diseases liable on treatments, skills to evaluate biological hazard, participation in experiments on animals.

Prerequisites: physiology, anatomy, biochemistry

Course content: Environmental elements and animal health condition, concept of health and disease, welfare, epizootic and immunological conditioned infectious diseases, not infectious diseases, diseases prevention, first aid during sudden accidents, concept of welfare physiology, clinics and behavioral criteria of welfare, veterinary stipulation during animal turnover and biological material, ethics and law aspects of experiments on animals, ethics committee, invasion scale, stress and the ways to minimize it.
