Learning outcomes: A student gets knowledge of the human individual, time and space variability, take the basic knowledge about directions in the anthropology.
Competences: Knowledge gained will help to develop skills relating to research methodology.
Prerequisites: None.
Course content: Biological and cultural properties of man. Intra-species and intra-race variability of man. Man against the order of primates. Basics of anthropogenesis. Genetic and environmental determinants of human ontogenesis. Growing up, ossification, maturation, development of body types - the rate, sequence, correlations. Acceleration and secular changes. Measures and factors of physical development. Base of demography.
