Competences: The gained knowledge will allow the selection of adequate methods and analytical techniques and the results evaluation against reference values and norms of human and animal nutrition.

Prerequisites: chemistry, biochemistry, physiology;

Course content: The usage of analytical methods in food and feed materials of plant and animal, taking into account the nutritional requirements of humans and animals, as well as in biological materials (body fluids - rumen, intestinal contents, faeces, urine and bone) because of the bioavailability of nutrients and the consequences resulting from their deficiency or excess. The evaluation methods acording to the content of basic nutrients, minerals and harmful substances.
