Learning outcomes: During the course student gets a theoretical knowledge permitting to understanding relations between global (ITRS), regional (ETRS89) and national terrestrial reference frames and to do in practice the transformations between above frames. Student is also able to use GNSS technology for establishing of geodetic network and geodetic surveying.

Competences: Passing the course permits working in geodetic practice and entitlement in geodesy and cartography

Prerequisites: Satellite geodesy, geodesy and mathematical cartography.

Course content: Global, regional and local geodetic reference frame realization using satellite measurement techniques. Global Positioning System(GPS) and other Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) in geodesy. GPS satellite networks realizations and data processing methods. Active geodetic networks based on the satellite measurement techniques.
