Learning outcomes: After finishing this course the student is able to: effectively use user interface and set it for use, manage files contents, use text file editors to create and change these files; send and share information using network tools; create and manage graphic files, select appropriate graphic formats for typical applications; use relational databases and get data using application software.
Competences: Create typical documents containing technical texts, equations and pictures using word processors; perform typical calculations and results using spreadsheets; advanced students can use macro language.

Course content: graphic user interface, text files, network services, raster graphic, vector graphic, data processing, word processing, spreadsheets, databases.
