Learning outcomes: Student achieve theoretical and practical knowledge concerned soil water retention and soil water balances. During soil water management lectures the problems of organic soil degradation and protection with sustainable agriculture will be emphasized. Lectures and practical exercises will enable the students to treat soil water management as a impotent element of natural as well as agricultural environment.
Competences: After course completing students will be enable to individually conduct and supervise of soil water management in sustainable agricultural production.
Prerequisites: Basic of soil science and physics.
Course content: Basis of soil water physic, soil sampling method to measurement soil physical parameters, soil water retention, soil structure and specific porosity, water balances, genesis and water management in organic soil.
