Learning outcomes: Students should posses the fundamental methods of market analysis used as a base for decision making the competitive market. The users of research could be organizations of different sizes including micro -enterprises and groups of farmers.

Competences: Competences in planning the research process including data gathering,data analysis and interpretation.Competences should be inclusive of market forecasting as well.

Prerequisites: Macroeconomics and microeconomics, statistics

Course content: Lectures: The core of market analysis. Planning the research process. Data on the market. The scope and structure of secondary data.Statistical data in Poland and in global markets The scope of primary data. Standarized and open communication methods. Non-standarized and open communication methods. Standarized and hidden communication method. Observation methods. Experiments. Data analysis and interpretation. Estimating the market potential. Market forecasting. Classes: Methods of time changes in the market. Methods and structural analysis. Methods of measuring the relationships in the market. Analysis of demand elasticity. Analysis of market penetration. Analysis of spatial aspects of the market.
