Learning outcomes: The student after completion of the course should be familiar with native woody (angiospermous) and acclimated plants. He should be able to determine their basic construction, habitat requirements and their applicability in the design of green objects. The student should know what methods can be assessed the vegetation as part of natural and cultural landscape. He should practically apply the knowledge of the morphology and ecology of plants. The student should be able to use practically the knowledge of the morphology and ecology of plants.

Course content:
Landscape. Landscape protection. Ecosystems, plant complexes and their protection. Polish National Parks - flora and fauna. Legal regulations relating to nature conservation.
The vegetation in phytosociological and cultural aspect.
Vegetation and habitat fertility. Natural and anthropogenic plant communities.
Botanical nomenclature.
Systematic of woody plants.
Plastic variability of plants. Structural components of plants.
