Learning outcomes: completion of the course will provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of organizing the exhibitions at natural history museums; students will possess the skill of preparation of mounts of invertebrate and vertebrate animals for the purpose of exhibitions and for scientific studies.

Competences: Organizing and running museum storage in the field of natural history, running the university and school collections of mounted animals; preparation of animals for scientific studies.

Prerequisites: Zoology, Animal anatomy

Course content: A survey of methods of conservation and mount preparation as well as methods of display applied for different animal taxa.
