Learning outcomes: Student knows fundamentals of object oriented programming paradigm; can write code in Visual Basic .NET by itself; is able to use provided software components in GIS solutions
Competences: On completion of the course the student can participate in IT projects connected with designing, building and using of applications written in VB.NET.
Prerequisites: -
Course content: Overview of technologies used in GIS implementation; procedural and object oriented programming; VS.NET environment, bases of VB.NET language: language syntax, control flow, classes and objects; application design and use of graphical components: controls and events; working with files.
