Learning outcomes: The course is giving students knowledge of the most important problem of environmental protection (air, water and soil protection) and about global environmental problems. in result of course students know the ecosystem\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s structure and function; better understand mutual relationships between plants and habitat; know the phytocoenoses response upon the anthropopressure and is able to diagnose them.
Competences: Students have got a theoretical knowledge about environmental protection, waste and water-sawage management. Passing the course permits to estimate the naturality of vegetation.
Prerequisites: botany, plant physiology, soil science
Course content: History of environmental protection, sustainable development. Air, water and soil pollution and protection, waste and water-sawage management. Structure and function of land ecosystems, stability of ecosystems; synantropisation and biological invasions; ecological factors and their influence of vegetation.
