Learning outcomes: Student has knowledge about rules of designing of work places existing in agricultural working environment with regarding of physical and psychical limitations of working people understanding of kinds and character hazards to health and safety of people who perform different work in agriculture and particularly physical, chemical, biological and accident hazards.

Competences: After the course a student is able to localize and to assess a level of hazards concerned with farm work as to find a measure for their reducing or eliminate as well.

Prerequisites: Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, Human Biology.

Course content: Ergonomics as an interdisciplinary science. Ergonomics and agricultural engineering. Geometry of work places. Signal and control devices on tractors and farm machines. Lighting at work. Thermal and atmospheric work environment. Noise. Vibration. Physical and psychical work loading. Chemical hazards at a work places. Accidents hazards in agriculture.
