Learning outcomes: During the course student gets knowledge and comprehension about basic concepts of range of veterinary pharmacy concerning various dosage forms of drugs, legal aspects of registration and prescribing of veterinary medicines.

Competences: Student knows how to prescibe medicines, has practical knowledge about drug dosaging and about various forms of drugs using in veterinary medicine.

Prerequisites: Chemistry, cell biology, anatomy, biochemistry, physiology.

Course content: Veterinary medicinal products and row pharmaceutical materials. Legislation of veterinary medicinal products. Dosage forms of drugs for veterinary use in various animal species. Bioequivalence. Withdrawal periods after the administration to food-producing animals of veterinary medicinal products.
