Learning outcomes: On ending the course the students know the reason the isolated processes, what accompany physical, chemical and biological the processing of materials.

Competences: After completion course student will be in state to co-operate near creating technological lines and their supervising

Course content: Basic applied in drying dependences: moisture, content of water, mass of vaporized water. Graph Ramzina - Moliera for moist air. Static dryers and through. Flows of liquids. The flow the laminarny and turbulent, the resistances of flows of gases and the liquid, local resistances. The division the, use, the characteristic sizes of ventilators. Distribution and use of the pumps, the characteristic size of pumps, pump characteristics and the vortex displacement, the selection of pumps in the network flow. Grounds cleaning and sorting. Machines and equipment for cleaning and sorting of granular materials and fragmented, the principle of sharing, selection, performance calculations. The theory of grinding. Grinding device. Mixer, mixer, crusher. Characteristic size, power, efficiency of mixing. The equipment for washing and cleaning. Filtration devices. Types of filters, centrifuge filters, filtration equipment operating characteristics. Dust Extraction. Construction and operating characteristics, the efficiency of extraction. Transport equipment. Types of conveyors, operational features, selection. Fundamentals of distillation processes. Simple distillation, equilibrium, molecular, with steam. Apparatus for distillation. Basics of the extraction process. Extraction of liquid-liquid. Extractors mixing-sedimentation tanks.Extractors mixing-sedimentation tanks. Extraction columns. Extraction of the liquid-solid. Crystallization processes. Crystallization of cooling, crystallization from evaporation of the solvent, Circulation. Filtration processes. Reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF). Characteristics of absorption and adsorption processes. The types of adsorbers. Reactors. Chemical reactors to carry out homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions in gas-liquid, liquid-solid, gas-solid, liquid-liquid. Biochemical reactors. Fermenters.
