Learning outcomes: The aim of animal anatomy course within Faculty of Biology and Animal Science curriculum is students acquaintance with the macroscopic build of animal organism in prenatal and postnatal period, sufficient for acquired profession. Anatomy, as basic science, builds the didactic base for other animal sciences, especially for basic sciences and animal breeding courses.

Competences: Passing the animal anatomy course permits working in animal production companies, zoological gardens, laboratories, ect.

Prerequisites: Biology, histology along with embryology

Course content: Domestic animal anatomy, anatomy of wild living animals in prenatal and postnatal aspects. The morphological analysis of animal body, osteology, myology, syndesmology, angiology, neurobiology, splanchnology, common integument (skin, hair, horns, pads, mamma et seq.), bird anatomy, topographical anatomy.
