Learning outcomes: After completion of a course the students are capable of understanding fundamentals of firm’s organization and undertstanding firm’s management in following fields: work management, human resources management and management of production and operations.
Competences: Students gains competence in creating organizational structure of a firm and capability of conscious participation in functioning of organizational structure.
Prerequisites:
Course content: Evolution of management as a field of studies. Organization as a system and as an element of systems. Societal and ethical responsibility of management. Principles of organization and management. Processes and functions of management. Management of work and organization. Human resources management. Production and operation management. Strategic management.

Assessment methods: Evaluation of classes based on tests and completion of a research project .Lectures end with written test. Final evaluation consists of: 50% of evaluation of an exam test and 50% of evaluation of classes.
