Learning outcomes: Student has basic knowledge about tourism and tourism management. Student is aware of connections between tourism and environment. Student has got knowledge about touristic resources of Poland especially based on natural environment resources. Student has possibilities of estimation natural environment as resources for touristic activity. Student has ability to recognize potential and present threatens for as consequence of touristic activity. Student has ability to act for minimalise touristic influence on environment and organize reclamation of areas affected by tourism.

Competences: After completing the course student gets possibilities of working in administrative authority especially in regions where touristic is or could be conducted. Works in agencies connected with natural environment protection. Works for companies working on touristic fields.

Prerequisites: ecology, environment protection, Basic of geomorphology, soil science

Course content: Definition and basic terminology of tourism. Estimation of natural resources as resources for touristic activities. Polish touristic resources especially in mountain areas. Tourism influence on environment. Rational touristic infrastructure localization and exploitation. Possibilities of minimize touristic activity influence on environment. Reclamation of areas affected by tourism.

Assessment methods: obligatory credit past 3 semesters, minimum 60%
