Learning outcomes: Students receive extensive knowledge of tourism, understood as a form of recreation takes place in the rural agricultural nature, based on accommodation and recreational activities associated with the farm and its natural environment, production and service.

Competences: Completion of course allows you to gain knowledge in the field of agritourism activity.

Prerequisites: Fundamentals of management and marketing

Course content: Software Requirements - lectures: Tourism as a division of the national economy with particular emphasis on rural tourism. The concept of rural tourism and agrotourism. Determinants of tourism development in rural areas. Products of tourism and its structure. Marketing services, tourism. Categorization system of rural accommodation. Legal and administrative requirements. Economic effects associated with the conduct of agritourism activity (costs, prices, incomes). Rural tourism in the countries of Western Europe. Development of rural tourism in Poland and in Lower Silesia.
