Learning outcomes: Student knows basic disease entities occurred in accompanying and wildlife animals as well as rules of prevention; knows the requirements of laboratory animals husbandry and their use in experiments, knows the requirements of accompanying animals movements and also wildlife animals transport rules; know rules of first aid render and take care of sick animals.

Competences: Taking care of accompanying and wildlife animals, skills to first aid render, undertaking activities in a range of veterinary prevention, undertaking activities in a range of veterinary prevention, use of diagnostic knowledge necessary to report about diseases liable on treatments.

Prerequisites: Animal husbandry, animal hygiene

Course content: Immunological prevention; chosen disease entities occurred in puppies and kitten; taking care of neonatal; most common non-infectious and infectious diseases in carnivorous, rodents, leporidae; behavioral disorders; housing rules of laboratory and exotic animals; basic diagnostic examinations to report about animals’ usefulness in husbandry; taking care of sick animals, prevention rules of wildlife animals in enclosed husbandry; requirements of accompanying animals movements within EU and to outer countries; wildlife animals transport rules.
