Learning outcomes: Student has got the basic knowledge about classification and morphology of main herbivorous organisms.
Competences: Student can to recognize the systematic affiliation of pests which occure on the plants.
Prerequisites: Zoology
Course content: Fossil history, morphology, development of insects, mites, and herbivorous nematods. Diversity of injuries and damage .Principles of insect classification and main systematic features. Systematic review of orders and families of most important economic groups. Noxious slugs and rodents.
