Learning outcomes: After passing the course, students have practical and theoretical knowledge about the technological processes connected with feed technology. Students can also determine hygiene rules in feed plants, know feed law related with veterinary supervision of feed plants.

Competences: Students possess knowledge about production and technology of feeds, know veterinary feed law and can carry out sanitary-veterinary supervision in feed plants.

Prerequisites: sanitary-veterinary law, hygiene of food of animal origin

Course content: Technology and processing of feed, utilization of slaughter by-products, microbiological and chemical hazards in feed production, identification of xenogenic proteins, feed law, sanitary-veterinary supervision of feed plants.
