Learning outcomes: The student after completion of the course should know the theory and principles of the city landscape shaping according to its location, the characteristics of the natural environment, cultural, social, technical and economic conditions...

Competences:

Prerequisites: Preceding subjects: completed study of first degree majoring in landscape architecture.

Course content:  Introduction, the functional-spatial structure of the city, examples.  Technical infrastructure of the city.  Principles of urban complexes shaping.  Elements of urban composition, squares, markets, dominants, water.  Landscape urban establishment.  Programming and design of green spaces in the city.  Shaping of public spaces.  Principles and examples of the revitalization of historic urban areas.  Substantive administrative law within the range of urban design.
