Learning outcomes: Student after completing the course should: be familiar with programming and design principles of landscape architecture objects in accordance with the principles of conservation protection; be able to formulate and carry out design tasks with the use of information sources in the design; he should also be able to determine how to adapt garden and landscape setups for needs of today\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s; know what methods are to use in case of adaptation of historical garden and landscape setups; use the formal requirements for construction projects.

Course content: Type and scope of classes: design classes. Classes consist of two major parts: an inventory-analysis aimed to familiarize with the terrain and the project part includes design elements for the adaptation of historical garden and landscape for the needs of today\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s (postmanorial parks, green at the sanatoriums, surroundings of churches and cemeteries). The scope of classes also includes familiarization with the basics of designing of landscape architecture objects arising from the findings of studies and land use planning and public participation and project customer participation in the process of design. The first classes are to provide you with the issues concerning the scope of classes and the choice of topic (class 1). Another part of the course begins with an of local, urban, photography, as well as dendrological inventory in the selected locations. It is also necessary to obtain conservation guidelines, as well as information on planning studies for the development of the area. The collected informations are then compiled in a graphical and descriptive form (class 2 - 4). Students then present the concept of design solution of the specified element in the enclosed classes (class 5). Developing of guidelines for the project and the project includes (class 6- 14). Scope of class: • Terrain inventory; • External and internal conditions. Developing of design guidelines and functional diagram (scale 1:500); • Basic board – project of land development (scale 1: 500); • 2 sections; • Axonometry of whole, overlays on photos and sketches; • Dendrology; • Details - supplementary drawings of selected sites; • Small architecture; Pass of classes (class 15).
