Learning outcomes: Student can work with advanced Geographical Information System.

Competences: Completion of the course gives the bases to work with spatial data in GIS and cartographic firms.

Prerequisites: Spatial information systems (or other course similar content of the teaching)

Course content: Gaining and data conversions; Topology Defining; Attribute and spatial analyses; Grid analyses – map algebra; Symbolisation; Visualization of the spatial data; Artificial intelligence - the use in geoinformation; Basis of ArcObjects programming; Standarisation GI; XML and GML languages.
