Learning outcomes: Successful passing will make the student able to prepare multi-media presentations, to make calculations and diagrams with the application of a calculation sheet, to create data bases, edit texts and write papers, use e-mail and create own Internet pages.
Competences: The student is fully able to use a computer for performing calculations, making elaborations, compiling lists/tables of results, drawing diagrams, searching for pertinent literature and preparing multi-media presentations.
Prerequisites: basic skills in using a computer
Course content: Basic knowledge of how to use the word processor, typing and edition, text formatting, designing tables, filling in forms, creation of drawings, storing and saving documents, operation of the word processor along with other applications, work of calculation sheet, their modification and saving, calculation sheet formatting, mathematical calculations, mathematical, statistical and logical functions, creation and modification of diagrams, creation and formatting of graphic objects.
