Learning outcomes: Students know legal basis of economic organizations functioning, estimation of production and economic indicators regarding economic activity ,as well as the assessment of prospective development, planning and organizing agricultural and gardening enterprises or labor processes. They can determine profitability threshold , do susceptibility analysis for economic subject ,as well as the principles of estimating income tax and book – keeping.

Competences: Students can do analysis of economic activity and plan gardening product. Their competences meet the requirements of taking managerial economic decisions ,as well as of starting, running and closing economic activity.

Prerequisites: To participate in the course students are expected to possess basic knowledge of economics (especially on microeconomic theory of functioning of enterprise) , to be able to use calculation sheet and sources of general statistics.

Course content: Basic notions regarding economics and gardening organization, legal basis of economic activity functioning, planning economic activity in the realm of gardening, labor organization analysis, the analysis of economic situation of the subject, gardening calculations, assessment of investment projects, unconventional methods of finance, accountancy.

Assessment methods: Standard conditions of acquiring credits according to study regulations, two written informal examinations in each semester, in VII semester - project of gardening enterprise. Additional works involving analysis of labor time photographs, analysis of production costs calculation, payment and human labor costs calculation. Examination: written(test ) or oral.
