Learning outcomes: Students can take advantage of knowledge of the nature and methods of production management and services, and in the field of agricultural production scheduling and quality management in the food economy. Student acquires theoretical and empirical basis for logistics and is able to discern patterns in the inside and understand the principles of materials management

Competences: Ability to apply theoretical assumptions of management and logistics for the functioning of economic entities, the application of scheduling systems for selected agricultural production. Ability to analyze risks in food production and an adequateselection logistics system for the type of business

Prerequisites: Mathematics, statistics

Course content: Management of production, services, production capacity and agricultural production scheduling. The principles of quality management in the food economy. The concept and importance of logistics. The principles of efficient and effective control of materials and products. Logistics during optimizing business processes. Processes, chains, systems, operations and logistics costs. Control of materials and products movement. The principles of drawing up analysis of logistics production processes. Operations research in solving transportation issues.
