Learning outcomes: Knowledge: Can describe issues related to the use of information technology in engineering applications. Can define the concepts related to word processors, spreadsheets and creating multimedia presentations. Can identify ways of selecting tools depending on the particular task. Skills: Can choose tools for implementation of the engineering task related to word processors, spreadsheets and creating multimedia presentations. Can design multimedia presentations related to production engineering and management. Can use Information Technology to solving problems related to field of study

Competences: Student strives to correctly solve the tasks and continues to expand his knowledge of the field of study

Prerequisites:

Course content: The concept of information technology, the basis for the construction of computers and operating systems, the concept of the editor and word processor, the construction of the word processor MS Word, basic and advanced features used for word processing, creating forms in MS Word, the concept and construction of MS Excel spreadsheets, basic and advanced features used for MS Excel, diagrams in MS Excel, practical use of spreadsheets, designing MS Power Point multimedia presentations, advanced features in MS Power Point.
