Learning outcomes: During the course a theoretical knowledge and practical skills are gained permitting students to identification a common occurrence grasses and dicotyledonous plants species on green areas. Students can make a detailed characteristic of respective species in depending of habitat by regard of pasture value. They have known the selection principles for mixes to sowing of permanent and alternating green areas. Moreover students are introduced with pratotechnical measures and basis of ecological production in green areas.
Competences: Passing the course permits students using the knowledge in practice, during carrying the field experiment and cameral and laboratory studies.
Prerequisites: Botany, agricultural chemistry
Course content: Typology of green areas, biology and morphology monocotyledons and dicotyledonous plants, biodiversity of grass community, breeding and seed production, pratotechnical measures and basic principle of stuff production on green areas.
