The course in English will be available if a minimum of 6 students sign up for a group. If less than 6 students sign up for the group, the course will be available in Polish with the possibility of individual support in English.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge Student has the basic knowledge of programming which provide individual calculations; he knows AutoCAD software enabling engineering drawings creation according to accepted standards, modifying existing drawings, drawings preparation to scale, creating a three-dimensional model of any object and realistic visualization. Skills Student can read typical block diagrams and prepare simple calculations on the basis of it, he can use programmatic methods to retrieve and transform data sets; can create a drawing object according to accepted engineering standards, can print a drawing on an appropriate scale, can create a three-dimensional model of the object and prepare a realistic visualization.

Competences: Can work independently and collaborate as a team on a designated task.

Prerequisites: Algebra, Information technology, Technical drawing and Descriptive geometry

Course content: Algorithmic processing. Simple and control statements. Data types. Functions and procedures. Using the Python programming environment for computational programs, data sets formats and graphical presentation of calculations converting. Program cooperation with using environment. Working with AutoCAD: units, coordinates, drawing boundaries, model and sheet space, vector objects, precise drawing, editing and transformations, layers, styles, blocks, text, dimensioning and print to scale. Modeling of three-dimensional space (3D) solid models, surface and mesh. 2D profiles and drawings from 3D models creation. 3D objects visualization and printing. Share data through drawings.

Assessment methods: Short tests every tutorial and programming project, 2 drawing tests, written CAD test.
